## 鷺（小サギ）
小鷺は異邦より渡ってくる。夏の時期に最も味が良く、とりわけ珍重される。夏の時期は鳥の食材が少ない。それゆえ鷺を最上のものとして賞味する。
丙酉年春、孟陽（正月）に
捕らえたものを実物に即して写した。

## Heron (Small Heron / Kosagi)
The small heron comes from foreign lands. During the summer months it is most delicious in flavor and especially prized. Summer is a time when birds suitable for the table are scarce, and therefore the heron is regarded as the finest among them.
In the spring of the Hinoto-Tori year, in the first month (Mōyō / Meng Yang), I captured one and drew it from life.
