鶻嘲（こつちょう）
別名：鶌鳩（くつきゅう）《割書：『爾雅（じが）』より》。鄭憔之（ていしょうし）の許音（きょおん）では「骨嘲（こつちょう）」と読む。
鷽鳩（がくきゅう）《割書：『本草（ほんぞう）』より》、阿鵴（あきく）《割書：同上および『酉陽雑俎（ゆうようざっそ）』より》。
《割書：俗称》八ツ頭鳥（やつがしらどり）。
蛮名（ばんめい）：コローン《割書：冠（かんむり）の意》、ホーゴル《割書：鳥（とり）の意》と言う。
寛政七年卯年（1795年）、蛮舶（ばんぱく）より渡来したもの。
