一 火之用心夜番当村宮坂より其御町内え
先年一統相勤候処近年勤方等閑ニ
相成候ニ付此度役元え御掛合有之右之段
宮坂申聞候処此節困窮難相勤由
ニ付五郎兵衛儀左衛門を以甚左衛門殿十三郎殿
え及御談毎年四月より十月迄朔日夜
より四日夜迄十一月より三月迄朔日夜より
三日夜迄急度相勤申候筈相定申候
尤毎月朔日にハ御町内より順達不【訂正印有り】及宮坂
にて相勤其余ハ御町内ニて御勤可有之候
勿論火之廻り之義ハ相互用心之義候得は
宮坂え御廻り可成候宮坂より出番之節
御町内相廻可申候如斯申定之上ハ此末如何様
新儀加役出来候共右定之通急度為
相勤可申候若違乱之節有之候ハヽ役元へ
御掛合可成候尤先規立帰候ハヽ双方一統為
相勤可申候為後日一札仍如件

書面違約に関する一札の件
一、防火のための夜番について、当村宮坂よりその御町内へ、先年は皆で勤めていたところ、近年勤務が怠慢になってきたため、この度役所へ相談があり、右の件について宮坂が申し聞かせたところ、この節は困窮して勤めることが難しいとのことで、五郎兵衛・儀左衛門を通じて甚左衛門殿・十三郎殿へ相談し、毎年四月より十月まで朔日夜より四日夜まで、十一月より三月まで朔日夜より三日夜まで、必ず勤めることに決定いたします。
もっとも毎月朔日には御町内より順番で宮坂にて勤め、その他は御町内にて勤めることとします。もちろん火の回りの件については相互に用心することなので、宮坂へ回ることになります。宮坂より出番の節は御町内を回ることとします。このように申し決めた上は、この先いかなる新しい役務が加わっても、右の定めの通り必ず勤めることといたします。もし違反の節があれば役所へ相談することになります。もっとも先例に戻れば双方皆で勤めることとします。後日のため一札、よって件の如し。

Document Regarding Written Agreement Violation
Item: Concerning night watch duties for fire prevention, from Miyasaka of this village to that town district, in previous years everyone performed this duty together, but in recent years the performance has become negligent. Therefore, there was consultation with the authorities regarding this matter. When Miyasaka was informed of this, they said that due to current hardship it was difficult to perform the duty. So through Gorobei and Gizaemon, consultation was made with Jinzaemon-sama and Jusaburo-sama, and it was decided that from April to October each year, from the 1st night to the 4th night of each month, and from November to March, from the 1st night to the 3rd night of each month, the duty shall definitely be performed.
Furthermore, on the 1st of each month, people from the town district shall take turns performing duty at Miyasaka, and for the rest, the duty shall be performed within the town district. Of course, regarding fire patrol matters, since this is a matter of mutual vigilance, rounds shall be made to Miyasaka. When Miyasaka sends people for duty, they shall patrol the town district. Having decided thus, henceforth no matter what new duties may arise, the duty shall definitely be performed according to the above regulations. If there should be any violation, consultation with the authorities shall be made. Furthermore, if previous customs are restored, both sides shall perform the duty together. This document for future reference, therefore as stated.
