伊達助三郎殿の実弟、田手亥之助へ、この度、御知行八十貫文を新規にお与えになり、苗字を小梁川と仰せ付けられた。よって御本牒に付記し、地形・当物成より割り渡し、御朱印下書きを整えるよう申し渡すべきである。ただし、小梁川金之丞が存命中に養子の願いを申し上げなかったため、跡式が絶えてしまったが、小梁川の家は格別な事情があり、その上、肥前殿へのご関係・ご縁もあることから、田手亥之助が小梁川の苗字・跡式を相続されることになった。御一家・御座敷には相…（次頁へ続く）

To Tade Innosuke, the biological younger brother of Lord Date Sukesaburō: He is hereby newly granted a stipend of eighty kanmon, and is ordered to take the surname Koyanagawa. Accordingly, this shall be appended to the official register (hondei), and the allotment shall be drawn from the local landholdings and current yields; the draft of the vermillion-seal document is to be prepared and conveyed accordingly. Note that, although the succession had lapsed because Koyanagawa Kinojō had not submitted a petition for an adopted heir during his lifetime, the Koyanagawa house is a matter of special circumstance; furthermore, in consideration of the connection with Lord Hizen, Tade Innosuke has been granted permission to succeed to the Koyanagawa surname and family succession.
