万端不法無之仁可被相語合尤
相番之仁へ相談之上番代可被差出事
一於社頭高声之雑語有之間敷候

一貴布祢日参下鴨参之儀も両社
御修理之節候へは衣躰万端其心得

一賭勝負博奕弥停止之事
一喧嘩口論之義急度可被相慎事

現代語訳
【右丁】
万事において不法のないよう人選して相談し合うべきであり、もっとも
相番の人へ相談の上、番代を差し出すべきこと。
一、社頭において高声での雑談があってはならない
こと。もっとも在番の内は浄衣上下にて、須臾も
不法な体があってはならないこと。
一、貴布祢への日参、下鴨参詣の件も、両社の
御修理の節であるから、衣装など万事その心得を
持つべきこと。
【左丁】
一、鉄砲並びに網籠等を携えての魚鳥猟の件は
堅く無用のこと。
一、賭勝負、博奕はいよいよ停止のこと。
一、喧嘩口論の件は急度慎むべきこと。
一、夜分の高声での雑談による往来や放埒な
所作があってはならないこと。
一、一の鳥居前並びに聖神寺前は、御用の外は
往来無用のこと。

In all matters, people should be selected who will not engage in improper conduct, and consultation should be made;
most importantly, after consulting with one's shift partner, a substitute should be appointed.
1. There shall be no loud idle chatter at the shrine grounds.
Most importantly, while on duty, one must wear ritual purification garments (upper and lower),
and there must be no improper behavior even for a moment.
1. Regarding daily visits to Kifune and visits to Shimogamo, since both shrines are
undergoing sacred repairs, one should be mindful of
proper attire and conduct in all matters.
