(前ページより続き)御婚礼が首尾よく済まされた御祝儀として、 貞鑑院様の御住居へ使者をもって干鯛一箱を献上したこと。 一、同年三月朔日(一日)、御婚礼の御祝儀として、 貞鑑院様より紅白紗綾三巻(白木台附)を下し置かれたこと。 一、同日、御婚礼の御祝儀として差し上げ物をしたことにより、紅白縮緬三巻(白木台附)を下し置かれたこと。 一、同日、貞鑑院様より御内々に御菓子を頂戴したこと。   但し、この後御逝去までの間、度々品々を下し置かれたこと。 一、同月三日、貞鑑院様の御雛をご覧になるよう仰せ付けられ、御附御用人衆一同へ御酒・御吸物が下された。御本丸より詰め居られた女中衆が罷り出て会釈があり、御内々に下される旨として、御包物・御多葉粉入・御盃・御蒸菓子・御包肴・御重肴等、品々を下し置かれたこと。 一、同月九日、御膝直(ひざなおし)の御登城につき、上使として御老中・青山下野守様が御出になり、御祝儀の御拝領物が済まされた後、召し出されて拝領物を仰せ付けられる旨、下野守様より仰せ渡しがあり、紗綾三巻(白木台附)の拝領を仰せ付けられ、御先手・三浦和泉(以下次ページへ続く)

[Continued from the previous page: the wedding ceremonies were successfully concluded,] and as a congratulatory gift for this occasion, a box of dried sea bream (hoshi-tai) was presented via messenger to the residence of Lady Teikanin. One item: On the first day of the third month of the same year, as a congratulatory gift for the wedding, three rolls of red-and-white (kōhaku) glossed silk (shaya) (with a plain wood stand) were bestowed by Lady Teikanin. One item: On the same day, in return for the congratulatory gifts presented [to Lady Teikanin] for the wedding, three rolls of red-and-white crêpe (chirimen) (with a plain wood stand) were bestowed [upon him]. One item: On the same day, confections were privately received from Lady Teikanin.   Note: From this time until her passing, various items were bestowed on numerous occasions. One item: On the third day of the same month, he was ordered to view Lady Teikanin's hina dolls. Sake and clear soup (suimono) were served to all the attached household officials (go-yōnin). The ladies-in-waiting who had been stationed in the Main Keep (Honmaru) came forward and exchanged greetings. As private gifts, various items were bestowed, including wrapped gifts, a tobacco pouch, a sake cup, steamed confections (mushigashi), wrapped side dishes, and tiered box dishes (jūkō), among other things. One item: On the ninth day of the same month, on the occasion of a formal visit to the castle (hizanoshi go-tōjō), Senior Councillor (rōjū) Lord Aoyama Shimotsuke-no-kami attended as the Shogun's envoy (ue-tsukai). After the presentation of celebratory gifts was completed, [the subject] was summoned and informed by Lord Shimotsuke-no-kami that he was to receive gifts.
