(前ページより続き)守殿のお取り合いをもって御礼を申し上げたこと。 一、同日、貞鑑院様が御登城されるにあたり御供をし、御広式へ罷り出たところ、御同人様の御供をしたことにより、 公方様より縮緬二巻(白木台附)、 御台様より紅白縮緬二巻(白木台附)の拝領を仰せ付けられる旨、大御留居・宝賀山城守殿より達せられたこと。   但し、御広式に詰め居る間、御台様より御下タを頂戴するよう仰せ付けられた由で、御料理ならびに御酒・御肴まで女中衆が持ち出し、頂戴した。その他、御料理を二度、その他御赤飯・御酒・御肴・御餅・菓子等を度々頂戴したこと。 一、同日、貞鑑院様御帰殿後、御祝儀の御供を相勤めたことにより、紅白紗綾三巻(白木台附〔以下闕字〕)を下し置かれたこと。 一、同日、御同人様より鮮鯛一折ならびに御赤飯・御重詰の御肴品々を下し置かれたこと。 一、同年六月、暑中の御尋ねとして(以下次ページへ続く)

[Continued from previous page:] ...through the intermediary of Lord [Miura Izumi-no-]kami, [he] offered his formal thanks. One item: On the same day, he served as an escort when Lady Teikanin proceeded to the castle, and presented himself at the Ohiromashiki (the formal reception area of the Shogun's consort's quarters). Because he had served as escort for Lady Teikanin, he was notified by the Grand Resident Official (Ō-otomari), Lord Hōga Yamashiro-no-kami, that he was to receive the following gifts: two rolls of crêpe (chirimen) (with a plain wood stand) from the Shogun (Kubō-sama), and two rolls of red-and-white crêpe (kōhaku chirimen) (with a plain wood stand) from the Midaidokoro (the Shogun's principal consort).   Note: While stationed in the Ohiromashiki, he was ordered by the Midaidokoro to receive a meal (o-shita). Ladies-in-waiting brought out food, including dishes, sake, and side dishes, which he partook of. Beyond this, he received full meals on two further occasions, and additionally partook on numerous occasions of red rice (sekihan), sake, side dishes, rice cakes (mochi), confections, and other such items. One item: On the same day, as recognition for having performed the escort duty during the celebratory occasion, upon Lady Teikanin's return to her residence, three rolls of red-and-white glossed silk (shaya) (with a plain wood stand [remainder missing]) were bestowed. One item: On the same day, from Lady Teikanin herself, one box of fresh sea bream (sen-tai), along with red rice (sekihan) and various side dishes packed in tiered boxes (jūzume), were bestowed.
