御丸御奉書松平能登守様於御宅御直ニ御渡被成
候事
一 同月廿四日江戸出起同廿九日会津江罷下候事
一 同年六月 御入部為御祝義御遣御羽織同
御帷子被下置候事
一 同年十一月九日御用人西川治左衛門為御使久々
病気ニ而不勤罷在候ニ付追々病躰之次第内存之趣
被為聞召候処 御代替之砌殊ニ一躰御仕居も半
ならす御大切之此節手代ニ相成候而者御為不宜候乍
然病体も壱ト通ならさる由ニ相聞嘸難義ニ者可
存候へとも猶緩々致保養少も快方ニ趣候ハヽ如何
躰ニ而も不苦候間致出勤候様夫迄者内宅ニ而御用
承候様ニと被 思召候依而者此節如何様ニ願出候共
御免被成間敷 御尊慮之旨品々御懇之

西の丸の奉書は松平能登守様がご自宅で直接お渡しになった
こと
一 同月二十四日江戸を出発し、同二十九日会津に下向したこと
一 同年六月 ご入部のお祝いとして、お遣いの羽織と
帷子を下賜されたこと
一 同年十一月九日御用人西川治左衛門を使者として久しく
病気で勤務できずにいることについて、だんだん病状の次第や内心の
思いを聞し召されたところ 代替わりの折、とりわけ一体にお仕えぶりも並み
ではなく、ご重要なこの時節に手代わりになっては、お為によろしくない。しか
しながら病体も一通りではないと聞いており、さぞ難儀であろうと
思われるけれども、なおゆっくりと養生して、少しでも快方に向かえば、どのよう
な体調であっても構わないので出勤するように。それまでは自宅で御用を
承るようにと思し召される。よってこの度どのように願い出ても
お許しにならない ご尊慮の旨、いろいろとご懇切な
お言葉をおっしゃられたこと

The official letter from the Western Citadel was personally delivered by Lord Matsudaira Noto-no-kami at his residence.
One: On the 24th day of the same month, he departed from Edo, and on the 29th day arrived back in Aizu.
One: In the 6th month of the same year: As celebration for the lord's entry into the domain, he was granted a ceremonial haori jacket and katabira summer garment.
One: On the 9th day of the 11th month of the same year, through retainer Nishikawa Jizaemon as messenger, regarding his long absence from duty due to illness, when his condition and inner thoughts were inquired about: "During this time of succession, your exceptional service has been beyond ordinary, and it would not be good for our sake to have a substitute at this crucial moment. However, we hear that your illness is not ordinary, and it must surely be difficult for you. Nevertheless, please continue to recuperate slowly, and when you feel even slightly better, regardless of your condition, please resume your duties. Until then, please handle official business from your home." Such was His Lordship's intention. Therefore, no matter what petition you might submit at this time, it will not be granted. Various kind words expressing His Lordship's considerate thoughts were spoken.
