但し郡方主役を仰せ付けられたため、年々金一枚ずつ下し置かれ、倉沢平治右衛門と申し合わせて四郡へ折々出役し、民力増長の筋は勿論、民風取り直し諸締り方の儀共に、都て先達て仰せ出された通り心得、もっとも廉立った儀は御家老共より申し聞かせ、左もなき御用筋は奉行共より申し聞かせる間、奉行共へ直に申し述べる事により、御家老共へも申し達すべく、地下筋の儀は御直に御尋ね遊ばされる間、申し上げたい義は出席して申し上げるよう仰せ出された件

One: In the same month, during the hunting exercise, he managed the formation order, foot movements, advances and retreats of the third unit's squadron with good coordination and alignment, demonstrating diligent supervision, which was favorably regarded and announced.
One: In the fifth month of Kansei 12 (1800), he was appointed as chief administrator of district affairs (gunkata shuyaku), with his seating position determined according to the order of senior officials as stated in the written instructions.
However, upon being appointed as chief administrator of district affairs, he was granted one gold coin annually. In coordination with Kurasawa Heijizaemon, he was to occasionally serve in the four districts, focusing not only on increasing the people's strength but also on reforming popular customs and all administrative tightening measures, understanding everything as previously announced. Important matters were to be communicated by the senior retainers, while routine official business was to be communicated by the magistrates. When reporting directly to the magistrates, he should also inform the senior retainers. Regarding local matters that the lord would inquire about directly, when there were matters to report, he should attend and present them, as was announced.
