望申上候儀遠慮仕不申上候処思召を以去年
御下向之節瀧沢より被為召候御馬相応之乗
合ニ相見候間可然との御儀ヲ以被下置候事

欽文様御宮参被遊候ニ付麻御上下壱具被下置候事

貞昭様御参府ニ付御供仕御道中御書簡兼

但古川幸之進当時壱人勤ニ而御用支も可

現代語訳
望みを申し上げることを遠慮して申し上げなかったところ、お思し召しにより、昨年お下向の際に瀧沢からお召しになった馬が相応の乗り合わせに見えるので適当であろうとのお考えで下賜された。
一 同月、欽文様が宮参りをなさるにつき、麻の上下一具を下賜された。
一 同年四月、貞昭様の参府につきお供をし、道中で書簡を兼ねて上京した。
一 同年五月、格式を重く仰せ付けられたので、支配下の者への披露はご遠慮くださる旨が仰せ出された。
一 文化二年（1805）四月、御前において、貞昭様付副の勤務のまま用人頭取を兼務するよう仰せ付けられ、勤め向きをはじめ平日の行状や補助の筋について、なお一層心を付けて勤めるよう仰せ出された。
一 同日、用人頭取兼務を仰せ付けられたところ、寿鳳院様のお方の用事も勤めるよう、御付着務やお供方支配を免除される旨が仰せ出された。
ただし、古川幸之進が当時一人勤めで用事に支障もあろうから、用人を仰せ付けられるまで、勤め方支配の件とともに今まで通りに心得るよう仰せ出された。

Although he refrained from expressing his preference out of modesty, by the lord's gracious consideration, the horse that had been summoned from Takizawa during the lord's visit the previous year appeared suitable for riding, and so it was bestowed upon him as appropriate.
- In the same month, in connection with Lord Kinbun's shrine visit, one set of hemp formal court dress was bestowed upon him.
- In April of the same year, he accompanied Lord Sadaaki on his journey to Edo, serving as both escort and messenger carrying correspondence during the journey.
- In May of the same year, having been assigned a position of elevated rank, it was decreed that announcement to his subordinates should be dispensed with.
- In April of Bunka 2 (1805), in the lord's presence, while continuing his duties as Lord Sadaaki's assistant, he was appointed to concurrently serve as chief retainer. He was commanded to pay even greater attention to his duties, including his daily conduct and assistance duties.
- On the same day, having been appointed to concurrent service as chief retainer, he was also commanded to handle affairs for Lady Juhoin's household, and was exempted from his attached duties and escort supervision.
However, since Furukawa Konoshin was currently serving alone and there might be impediments to his duties, until a new retainer could be appointed, he was commanded to continue managing duties and supervision as before.
