頃なと渡海不相成段無相違相聞正月中旬
過彼地江到着候様との義ハ御老中様方御吟
味相積御達被成候事とハ必至と不相見候得共
何レ初発御達之義其後雪深之内者道中
差支可申候間雪解通路開候頃御国元可
被差起旨御達直ニ相成御持場参着之頃合
御懸合有之候へ共其程迚者屹度御達無之松
前詰者三月中旬頃着之積と御達有之唐
太宗谷参着之時期迚ハ御握ニ不相成段々連々
致参着以前夷賊渡来侵掠被致候而者不相
済義ニ付御聞番片峯保助宿陣方横山
数馬野村忠次郎へも精々申談種々及手配候へ
共何ニも渡海時節ニ不相成由ニ而所存通不行
届当惑之儀ニ有之源助方采女方旅中迄細々

同十五日松前奉行村垣淡路守殿当所到着
止宿ニ付旅宿江罷越面会之上前段之次第一々

頃などは渡海できない段は間違いなく聞いており、正月中旬過ぎに彼の地に到着するようにとの件は、御老中様方が御検討を重ねて御達しになったこととは必ずしも見えませんが、いずれにしても最初の御達しの件で、その後雪深い間は道中に支障があるでしょうから、雪解けして通路が開く頃に御国元から差し起こすべき旨の御達しが直ちになされ、御持場参着の頃合いについて御掛け合いがありましたが、その程度でも確かな御達しはなく、松前詰めは三月中旬頃着く予定との御達しがあり、唐太・宗谷参着の時期については御確定にならず、段々と連続して参着する以前に蝦夷の賊が渡来して侵略を行ってはならない件につき、御聞番片峯保助、宿陣方横山数馬、野村忠次郎にも精一杯申し談じて種々手配に及びましたが、何にしても渡海の時節にならないということで、所存通りに行き届かず当惑の件であります。源助方、采女方まで旅中の細々とした形勢を逐一申し遣わし、彼方からも申し越された次第もあり、精一杯せり立てている間に、同十四日に源助方が当所着、同十五日に松前奉行村垣淡路守殿が当所到着し止宿につき、旅宿に罷り越して面会の上、前段の次第を一々申し述べたところ、尽く領承され心配している段は余儀ないことと聞き受けられ、なお油断なく手配に及ぶべき旨を種々

There was a directive that those stationed at Matsumae should arrive around mid-March, but the timing for arriving at Karafuto and Soya could not be determined.
