責而者半分又ハ三ヶ一も相残し采女も罷
在度御自分様ニ者無御構御引取被下候様致

見立何レニ而成とも越年可致候呉々も異国人
渡来難相成時期ニも不至内引取候段甚遺
念之至ニ候間越年等之義聊も無御厭御手配被
下度旨細々申述候処御主意之趣ハ御尤至極

上もなき儀は御理解の通り、最寄りでもない当家の人数を差し向け、数百里の山海を越えて当島まで乗り渡った詮もなく、空しく引き取る段は、総人数一同残念至極の義は申すまでもなく、幼主成長の後に承ったならば、いかばかりか遺念に思われることであろう。併せて江戸表の御沙汰により時期が遅れた段を御気遣い下さったということであるが、せめて半分又は三分の一でも残し、采女も留まりたく、御自分様には御構いなく御引取り下さるようにいたしたい。采女の義は在陣に留まり、もし時節が遅れたならば場所を見立てて何れにしても越年をいたそう。くれぐれも異国人渡来し難い時期にも至らない内に引き取る段は甚だ遺念の至りであるので、越年等の義は少しも御厭いなく御手配下さりたい旨を細々と申し述べたところ、御主意の趣は御尤も至極で御頼もしき義であるが、越年は決して致さないようにとの達しで御沙汰であるので、とても叶わない義である。御人数御手配の義は彼方の御主任の義であるので、申し述べた義ではないが、采女殿が御在陣と申すのでは、御人数一統誰でも引き取られる方はないであろうから、申し達した次第、采女殿には御引取りになるのが然るべきである。尤も拙者の義は検使として差し越され、御人数引き払いをも見届けないでは上への
