一、藤沢川の築き打ち（堤防工事）について届け出申し候。
小工助左衛門殿が承り届けられ候。
一、今日、御城より粂左衛門殿から呼び出しがあり罷り出候ところ、杢左衛門より御伝言があり、もし留め書きなどがあれば、二十二日の夜にご覧いただけるとのことにて、先例の控えを吟味役のお宅まで持参するように、とのことでございました。よって罷り出て、吟味の上、書き付けを差し上げるよう御挨拶いただき罷り帰り候。
則ち、金の義につき書き付けを差し上げ候。

一、茂左衛門殿より申し渡しがありました。二十三日の御納め（お納め）について、奥七つ時（午後4時頃）までに御城へお届けできるよう、承知した旨を申し出るようにとのことでございます。

一、久兵衛の御参府人足割が相済み、今日より同役の方が引き継ぎ、久助方へ詰め申し候。

This was received and acknowledged by Konosuke Saemon.
Item: Today, upon being summoned from the castle by Kumezaemon, I went to present myself. A message was conveyed through Mokuzaemon that if there were any relevant retained records, they would be reviewed on the evening of the 22nd, and that the precedent records should be brought to the residence of the inspector (ginmi-yaku). Accordingly, I went there, and upon being told to submit a written report after careful examination, I returned home with that understanding. I have thereupon submitted a written statement regarding the matter of gold/money.

Item: An instruction was received from Mozaemon. Regarding the delivery on the 23rd, I was directed to report that we have duly acknowledged [the order] to ensure delivery to the castle by the hour of nanatsu in the inner quarters (approximately 4 o'clock in the afternoon).
