一 条左衛門（じょうざえもん）殿より御手紙、左の通り。
手紙をもって申し入れ候。■■御網打（おあみうち）両人、毎日罷り出で候様致したく、吟味方より申し立てに候。右は、御繕（おつくろい）の節、相用いる鯛（たい）の肴（さかな）これなきにつき申し立て候趣にて候得共、毎日両人同日に差し出し候義は、調拵（しらべこしらえ）ならびに休足（きゅうそく）参りなきにつき、相成り難き筋を存じ候。依てこれ■■■両人ずつ差し出すべきと存じ候。御発駕（おはつが）前の祭りもこれなきにつき、■夜罷り出で精を出し相勤め候様に申し付けられるべく候。以上。

One item: A letter received from Jōzaemon-dono, the contents of which are as follows:
I write to you by letter. It is requested by the investigative office (gimmigata) that both net-fishermen (ami-uchi) come out every day. The purpose of this request is that there is a shortage of sea bream (tai) used during the repair ceremonies. However, I believe it would be difficult to dispatch both men on the same day every day, as there would be no time for preparation and rest. Therefore, I think it best to send [them] alternately, two persons at a time. As there are no pre-departure festivals (o-hatsuga mae no matsuri), please instruct them to come out [day and] night and apply themselves diligently to their duties. Respectfully submitted.
