Item: Konnya-gashira (dye-house chief) Kyūbei arrived. Concerning Yoroemon's ai-game role (indigo-vat levy) having been concluded, a provisional receipt (kari-tegata) for Kiasa-mai (wood-hemp rice / timber-hemp payment rice) on the friendly side was handed over to the village headmen (shōya) for their receipt. Copies of all submitted documents, the dye-house bond (konnya shōmon), and entries in the official ledger have been duly recorded.
