一、同年二月、上人割方の任役を仰せ付けられた。
但し、この任役を勤めるにあたり費用がかかることもあるため、費用の補填として毎年金二分ずつを下し置かれた。
一、同年十二月、出火があった場合には、速やかに火の見えるところへ出て、方角・遠近を見極め、御人数を差し出す段取りとなった際には、掛りとして割方の者へ立ち入り、人員配置を行うよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同日、この頃たびたび出火があり、御人数を差し出すにあたり骨折り勤めたことにより、御酒を下し置かれた。
一、同三（亥）年四月、

松寿院様の御葬送の節ならびに御法事のたびに御寺詰めを行い、格別に骨折ったことにより、御酒を下し置かれた。
一、同年七月、概して御尋ねの者がある際に、以前より手順が後手に回り、尋ね方が先々行き届かないことがあるとのことにより、御出入町同心の者へ、兼ねて気安く交わるよう仰せ付けられ、御聞番を通じて引き合わせるよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十一月、芝屋敷へ引き移り、上総夫支配・人割御用等、概してこれまでの四（以下次頁に続く）

- In the second month of the same year, he was appointed to the role of *Shōnin-warigata* (person-allocation officer for upper-rank personnel).
*Note: Since there were expenses involved in carrying out this appointed role, he was granted two *bu* in gold annually as a subsidy for those costs.*
- In the twelfth month of the same year, he was instructed that in the event of a fire breaking out, he was to immediately proceed to a place from which the fire could be seen, assess the direction and distance, and, should the deployment of personnel become necessary, enter the area in his capacity as officer in charge of the allocation division and arrange the deployment of men.
- On the same day, as fires had broken out frequently during this period and he had worked diligently in deploying personnel on each occasion, he was granted rice wine (*sake*) as a reward.

he served at the temple on each occasion of the funeral procession and memorial services for Lady Shōju-in (*Shōju-in-sama*), rendering particularly dedicated service, and was therefore granted rice wine as a reward.
- In the seventh month of the same year, it was noted that when there were persons to be investigated, the procedures had previously fallen behind, and there were instances in which the investigation had not been carried out thoroughly. He was therefore instructed to cultivate an amicable relationship in advance with the town constables (*dōshin*) who regularly interacted with the domain, and was ordered through the *okikiban* (duty officer for receiving information) to arrange such introductions.
