(Continued from previous page) ...the management and coordination of nakatsugi (intermediary relay duties) and related matters were duly performed.
- In the 12th month of the same year, due to the onset of the cold season (kaniri), he was additionally appointed—by designation (o-hitosashi)—to serve as register-keeper (o-chōtsuke) in the Great Hall (o-hirōma).
- On the 1st day of the 1st month of the 2nd year of the same era (Inu, 1802), during the busy New Year's inaugural ceremonies (o-tehajime), he was additionally appointed to serve as register-keeper in the Great Hall.
- In the 3rd month of the same year, having been appointed on an ad hoc basis as a temporary inspector (kari-metsuke) and having duly served, he was granted one bu in gold.
- In the same month, having attended without absence throughout the period of the encampment (jinchū), he received a commendation (shōbi).
- In the 8th month of the same year, he was appointed as an o-kachi kari-metsuke (temporary foot-soldier inspector), with duties equivalent to a full post (hon'yaku dōzen),

- In the same month, he turned out for the Otoriga-gari (a ceremonial bird-drive hunt).
Note: After this occasion, he turned out four additional times.
- In the 12th month of the same year, he was appointed as an o-kachi metsuke (foot-soldier inspector), and was granted a stipend supplement (o-yakunryō) of one koku and one person's ration.
- In the 5th month of the 2nd year of Bunka (Ushi, 1805), he was appointed concurrently to the following posts: supervisor of post-stations along the road (dōchū-eki no shimari shitayaku), female-transit pass inspector (onna-kitte-yaku), and supervisor of the Tennei and Yumoto [post-station areas].
