恐れながら申し上げます。
私の組合の越後屋忠右衛門が揚酒商売をしておりましたが、
昨年卯年の七月中に死去いたしましたので、その商売を止めたく
存じます。つきましては、御鑑札を返納いたしたく願い上げます。

私の組合の越後屋忠右衛門が油小桶入りの商売をしておりました
が、昨年卯年七月中に死去いたしましたので、その商売を止めたく存じます。
つきましては、御鑑札を返納いたしたく願い上げます。

but he died in the seventh month of last year (Year of the Rabbit). Therefore, I wish to
discontinue that business. Accordingly, I humbly request to return the business license.
