現代語訳
一、天明元丑年（1781年）3月、御城御番を懈怠なく勤めた段について、仰せ出された。
一、同2寅年（1782年）10月、春日仁左衛門組中において御番方に出精し、2年引き続き一組にて皆勤した段について、御称美を賜った。
一、同5巳年（1785年）3月、男子がいないため、黒河内太郎左衛門の弟・鉄蔵を聟養子にしたい旨、願いの通り認められた。
一、同8申年（1788年）3月、若年寄附外様士を仰せ付けられた。
一、寛政元酉年（1789年）正月、願いの通り、忰（せがれ）・鉄蔵に御番代を仰せ付けられた。
一、文化12亥年（1815年）12月4日、84歳にて病死。諡（おくりな）は名越惣兵衛茂敬。葬所は同上。

Item: In the 3rd month of the 1st year of Tenmei, year of the Ox (1781), it was officially proclaimed that he had served in the castle guard (御城御番) without negligence.
Item: In the 10th month of the 2nd year of the same era, year of the Tiger (1782), it was recognized with commendation that he had devoted himself diligently to guard duty within Kasuga Jinzaemon's unit, maintaining perfect attendance within the unit for two consecutive years.
Item: In the 3rd month of the 5th year of the same era, year of the Snake (1785), his petition to take Tetsuzō, younger brother of Kurogouchi Tarōzaemon, as his son-in-law and adoptive heir (聟養子), owing to his having no male children, was approved as requested.
Item: In the 3rd month of the 8th year of the same era, year of the Monkey (1788), he was appointed as an "attached outside retainer to the Junior Councillor" (若年寄附外様士).
Item: In the 1st month of the 1st year of Kansei, year of the Rooster (1789), his petition was granted, and his son Tetsuzō was appointed as his guard duty successor (御番代).
Item: On the 4th day of the 12th month of the 12th year of Bunka, year of the Boar (1815), he died of illness at the age of 84. His posthumous name (諡) is Nagoshi Sōbei Shigeyoshi. Place of burial: same as above.
