現代語訳
一、享和二戌年（1802年）正月、学校什長（じゅうちょう）に仰せ付けられた。
一、文化元子年（1804年）二月、親の願いの通り、初めての御目見を仰せ付けられた。
一、同三寅年（1806年）五月、このたび学校の御振合いが改められ、什長が減員されることになったため、右（学校什長の）勤めを御免になった。これまで出精して相勤め、童子訓（どうじくん）の御教諭については、あれこれ心を尽くして宜しく取り計らったことにつき、御褒美として古綿一把（ひとたば）を下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された。
一、同五辰年（1808年）正月、蝦夷地御固の御用のため介添えとして罷り越したにつき、大書院において御目見を仰せ付けられ、御流（おながれ）を頂戴し、出発いたした。
一、同年九月、帰陣いたしたにつき、御目見を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十一月、塾締め方を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十二月、蝦夷地御固の御用のため介添えとして罷り越したところ、海陸の往来をはじめ（以下次頁へ続く）

Item: In the 1st month of Kyōwa 2, the Year of the Dog (1802), he was appointed as Jūchō (什長, Section Head/Group Leader) of the domain school.
Item: In the 2nd month of Bunka 1, the Year of the Rat (1804), in accordance with his parent's petition, he was granted his first formal audience (御目見) with the lord.
Item: In the 5th month of the 3rd year of the same era, Bunka 3, the Year of the Tiger (1806), as the organization of the domain school was being restructured and the number of Jūchō positions was being reduced, he was relieved of said duties. As he had performed his role with diligence and had devoted considerable effort to the teaching and instruction of the Dōjikun (童子訓, a moral education text for children), attending to every detail with care, he was commended and granted one bundle of raw cotton (古綿一把) as a reward, as formally proclaimed.
Item: In the 1st month of the 5th year of the same era, Bunka 5, the Year of the Dragon (1808), having traveled to assist with the Ezo garrison duty (蝦夷地御固), he was granted a formal audience in the Great Audience Chamber (大書院), received a serving of the lord's meal (御流), and departed on his mission.
Item: In the 9th month of the same year, having returned from the campaign (帰陣), he was granted a formal audience.
Item: In the 11th month of the same year, he was appointed to the position of overseer/administrator of the domain school (塾締め方).
