一、同六巳年（1809年）六月、このたび学校の御振合いが改められたにつき、塾締め方を御免になった。これまで出精して相勤め、童子訓の御教諭については、格別に心を尽くして宜しく取り計らった段を仰せ出された。
一、同年八月、蝦夷地警固の御用につき、介添えとして罷り越し、甲士へ加わり御備組に入り、諸役をも相勤めたにつき、綿三把を下し置かれた。

Item: In the 6th month of the 6th year of the same era, Bunka 6, the Year of the Snake (1809), as the organization of the domain school was being restructured, he was relieved of his duties as administrator of the domain school (塾締め方). It was formally proclaimed that, up to that point, he had performed his role with diligence, and had devoted particular and exceptional care to the teaching and instruction of the Dōjikun (童子訓), attending to every detail with care.
Item: In the 8th month of the same year, in connection with the Ezo garrison duty (蝦夷地警固), he traveled as an assistant, joined the Kōshi (甲士) forces, entered the reserve unit (御備組), and fulfilled various roles, for which he was awarded three bundles of cotton (綿三把).
Item: In the 5th month of Bunka 7, the Year of the Horse (1810), when a fire broke out at the Warijiba (割場, the administrative office), he promptly rushed to the scene, took the lead in firefighting measures, provided various necessary materials, and worked with great diligence, for which a formal commendation was issued.
Item: In the 11th month of the same year, he was appointed as the administrator/overseer (締め方) of the Ōuchi-ryū spear techniques (大内流槍術) at the Bugakuryō (武学寮, the domain's martial arts academy).
