現代語訳

一、寛政六年（1794）寅年二月、親（父）の願い出により、初めての御目見えを仰せ付けられた。

一、享和元年（1801）酉年八月、親の願い出により、御番代を仰せ付けられ、日向三郎右衛門組にて御城番を勤めた。

一、文化四年（1807）卯年九月、馴馬揃えの節に罷り出た。

一、同五年（1808）辰年正月、蝦夷地御固めの御用として罷り越したことにより、大書院にて御目見えを仰せ付けられ、小書院にて御流れ（頂戴）を仰せ付けられ、唐太島（樺太）へ罷り越した。

一、同年四月二十八日、樺太島にて片岡仲蔵のために手傷を負わされ、自滅（戦死）した。

Item: In the second month of the sixth year of Kansei (1794), the Year of the Tiger, by petition of his father, he was granted his first audience with the lord.

Item: In the eighth month of the first year of Kyōwa (1801), the Year of the Rooster, by petition of his father, he was appointed to castle guard duty (go-bandai) and served as castle guard in the unit of Hyūga Saburōemon.

Item: In the ninth month of the fourth year of Bunka (1807), the Year of the Rabbit, he appeared at the horse-breaking parade (naramazoroe).

Item: In the first month of the fifth year (1808), the Year of the Dragon, as he was dispatched for the duty of defending Ezo (Hokkaido), he was granted an audience in the Great Drawing Room (Ō-shoin), and was granted a cup of sake (o-nagare) in the Small Drawing Room (Ko-shoin), after which he proceeded to Karafuto (Sakhalin).

Item: On the twenty-eighth day of the fourth month of the same year, on Karafuto Island (Sakhalin), he sustained wounds inflicted by Kataoka Nakazō and died.
