現代語訳
先発組の方々は高島の高札場から神宮寺鳥居前まで測量を行われた。後発組の方々は湯之町の高札場から高島の高札場まで測量を行われた。
ただし、この区間の村々である高木村・大和村の役人は村境まで出向き、隣村境まで案内をいたした。もちろん、お尋ねの件等もあった。
一、高島の役人両名が上下（主従）で湯之脇一里塚まで出迎えに参り、そこから宿まで案内し、しばらくお休みいただき、お茶・お菓子を差し上げた。
英語訳
The advance group conducted surveys from Takashima's notice board to the front of Jinguji Torii gate. The follow-up group conducted surveys from Yunomachi's notice board to Takashima's notice board.
However, during this section, the village officials of Takagi Village and Yamato Village came out to the village boundaries and provided guidance up to the neighboring village boundaries. Of course, there were also matters of inquiry.
One item: Two officials from Takashima, with their attendants, came out to meet them at Yunowaki Ichirizuka (one-ri milestone), guided them from there to the lodging, where they rested briefly and were served tea and sweets.
