一御測量之儀者
夜毎御泊ニ而被成候
此節出役之者拾人
程人足弐拾人程
一上御役人為人馬別
同心方御両人御宿へ
御詰之趣下河部
政五郎様江御届ヶ申上候
尤御用等御座候はゝ
被仰付候段申上置候
御上江掛御目御挨拶
之義相尋候處不
及其義ニ段内々有之候

一、御測量の儀については
毎夜御宿泊にて実施されます
この際出役の者十人
ほど、人足二十人ほど
一、上御役人のため人馬別に
同心方御両人を御宿へ
御詰めの趣、下河部
政五郎様へ御届け申し上げました
もっとも御用等ございましたら
仰せ付けられる段申し上げ置きました
御上へ掛御目御挨拶の
義について相尋ねしたところ、
その義には及ばない段、内々にございました
英語訳
1. Regarding the matter of the honorable surveying:
It shall be conducted with overnight stays each night.
On this occasion, approximately ten officials on duty
and approximately twenty laborers.
1. For the senior officials, with separate provisions for personnel and horses,
two officials from the dōshin group are to be stationed
at the lodging. This matter has been reported
to Shimokawabe Gogorō-sama.
Of course, should there be any official business,
we have stated that orders may be given.
Regarding the matter of formal greetings
and audience with the superiors,
when we inquired about this, we were told privately
that such formalities would not be necessary.
