祖父勝田与三と申す者は北條氏直の小姓を務め、天正十八年（1590年）北條家滅亡の節、上総介様（結城秀康）に暫く仕えて御腰物を拝領し、今に至るまで持ち伝えている。その後慶長十二年（1607年）、忠昌公の御代に上総国姉崎にて召し出された。その子が福田門左衛門宣重、その子が当代の門左衛門宣久である。

Summoned to service during Lord Tsunamasa's reign, in the 3rd year of Tenna, year of the Water Boar (1683)
Current head: Fukuda Monzaemon Nobuhisa 《Original province and birthplace: both Sagami | Surname unknown》
His grandfather, called Katsuda Yozō, served as a page to Hōjō Ujinao. When the Hōjō family was destroyed in the 18th year of Tenshō (1590), he briefly served Kazusa-no-suke-sama (Yūki Hideyasu) and received a ceremonial sword, which has been passed down to this day. Later, in the 12th year of Keichō (1607), during Lord Tadamasa's reign, he was summoned to service at Anesaki in Kazusa Province. His son was Fukuda Monzaemon Nobushige, and his son is the current Monzaemon Nobuhisa.
