　　先祖小田筑前守知家の孫である高田三郎左衛門尉《割書：修理｜亮》知継は、常陸国高田村の領主として五代続いた。六代目の大和守知之は弓の上手であったため、結城直光公に召し寄せられ、下野国簗領を下された。その前に三代続いていた。同氏朝公の御代に、高田孫三郎義種に武者所の役を仰せ付けられ、結城戦場の時、嫡子左馬助と父子一族共に忠死を遂げた。同氏広公の御代に、左馬助の弟兵庫助《割書：大和｜守》知直が召し出され、父祖の遺跡である簗領を下された。その子孫は代々大和守義通まで結城御家に度々軍忠を励んだ。右義通の孫流心知世は盲人であったが、源氏物語の相伝をしていたため、承応二年癸巳年（1653年）に光通公に召し出された。流心の贅婿である高田孫兵衛知義の子、当代三郎左衛門知良は、右流心が願い申し上げたことにより召し出され、結城から越してきた。

　　The ancestor, Takada Saburōzaemon-no-jō《Note: Shurinojō｜suke》Tomotsugu, grandson of Oda Chikuzennokami Tomoya, served as the lord of Takada village in Hitachi Province for five generations. The sixth generation, Yamatonokami Tomoyuki, was skilled in archery and was summoned by Lord Yūki Naomitsu, who granted him Yana territory in Shimotsuke Province. Before that, there had been three generations. During the reign of Lord [Yūki] Ujitomo, Takada Magosaburō Yoshitane was appointed to the position of musha-dokoro, and during the Battle of Yūki, he and his eldest son Samanosuke, along with the entire clan, died loyal deaths. During the reign of Lord [Yūki] Ujihiro, Samanosuke's younger brother Hyōgonosuke《Note: Yamato｜nokami》Tomonao was summoned and granted the Yana territory, the ancestral estate of his forefathers. His descendants served the Yūki household loyally in military affairs through successive generations until Yamatonokami Yoshimichi. The aforementioned Yoshimichi's grandson, Ryūshin Tomoyo, was blind but had received the transmission of the Tale of Genji, so he was summoned by Lord Mitsumichi in the second year of Jōō, Mizunoto-Mi year (1653). The son of Takada Magobei Tomoyoshi, who was Ryūshin's son-in-law, the current Saburōzaemon Tomoyoshi, was summoned upon Ryūshin's petition and came from Yūki.
