光通公の御代、寛文八年戊申年に召し出された。
●野路汝謙宗益《割書：本国越前 生国山城｜姓不知》
宗益の曾祖父野路宗八と申す者は朝倉義景に仕え、その際加賀国能美郡本折口合戦の時に高名を立てた由で、義景の感状を所持していた。義景没落の後、金森法印が当国大野に居城した際に家老職を勤めた。その子野路七郎右衛門宗仲はそのまま金森家に在り、法印が京都に隠居した際に一緒に参った。その子野路汝雲と申す者は汝謙の父で、京都に居住していた。
吉品公の御代、元禄十五年壬午年に跡目を下された。

Noji
Summoned to service during the reign of Lord Mitsumichi, in the 8th year of Kanbun, year of the Earth Monkey (1668).
●Noji Jokan Muneeki《Note: Home province Echizen, Birth province Yamashiro｜Family name unknown》
Muneeki's great-grandfather, called Noji Munehachi, served Asakura Yoshikage. During that time, he distinguished himself in the Battle of Motooriguchi in Nomi District, Kaga Province, and possessed a letter of commendation from Yoshikage. After Yoshikage's downfall, when Kanamori Hōin established his castle at Ōno in this province, he served as chief retainer. His son Noji Shichirōemon Munenaka remained in the Kanamori family, and when Hōin retired to Kyoto, he accompanied him there. His son called Noji Joun was Jokan's father and resided in Kyoto.
During the reign of Lord Yoshishina, in the 15th year of Genroku, year of the Water Horse (1702), he was granted succession.
