吉品公の御代、吉江において明暦年中（1655-1658年）に召し出された
●菅沼平兵衛（諱不明）《本国近江 生国丹後｜姓は源》
天正の頃（1573-1592年）、先祖岡小左衛門宗光という者が、老後は道味入道と
名乗った。壮年の時分に関白豊臣秀次卿に仕え、その後各地において陣役に
従事し、働きの品々もあり、覚書を持ち伝え今に至るまで有している。その子岡権右衛門と
いう者は、寛永年中（1624-1644年）に京極丹後守殿に仕え、丹後守殿の尋ねにより慶
長の頃（1596-1615年）に少々仕えた覚書を差し出し、その写しも今に至るまで有している。その子岡次
郎左衛門という者は、後に菅沼平兵衛と名乗り召し出された

Around the Tenshō era (1573-1592), an ancestor named Oka Kozaemon Munemitsu, who in his later years
called himself Dōmi Nyūdō. In his prime, he served Kampaku Toyotomi Hidetsugu, and afterwards
performed military duties in various places, with various meritorious deeds, and has preserved records
that are maintained to this day. His son, called Oka Gonemon,
served Lord Kyōgoku Tangonokami during the Kan'ei years (1624-1644), and upon inquiry by Tangonokami,
submitted records of his brief service around the Keichō era (1596-1615), copies of which exist to this day. His son,
called Oka Jirōzaemon, later took the name Suganuma Heibei and was summoned
