祖父白井左衛門宗安という者は、若狭国青井城主丹羽五郎左
衛門長秀に仕え、禄五百石で武頭役を務めていたが、天正十一年（1583年）■
田の陣の時に討死したという。その子白井彦左衛門宗勝は丹羽長
秀の子息長重の代に至り、その家を立ち退き、奥州会津城主加藤式部
大輔明成に仕え、禄千石で使番役を務めたが、その家が取り潰された際に浪人し、
その後病死した。その子白井茂左衛門宗久の姉志満という女性が
高照院様に召し仕えられ、御懇意により吉品公へお願いして、茂左
衛門宗久が召し出された
