吉品公於吉江御領知之時正保四丁亥年

往古之先祖榊原七郎左衛門清長ト申候者本国伊勢榊原
庄後三河エ罷越候則当時榊原式部大輔殿先祖之由申候

ヨリ右ノ手不相叶三河国渥美郡ニ蟄居仕罷有候由其子
武左衛門貞則事 御家ニ相勤候渥美助左衛門ヲ便候而
正保元甲申年三州ヨリ当国エ罷越候処翌正保二年
忠昌公達 御聴追付可被召出候間他家ヲ望申間布旨被
仰出候処其年御逝去被遊孚及御沙汰候処其後於江戸

吉品公が吉江を御領知の時、正保四年丁亥年（1647年）に
江戸において召し出された
● 榊原武右衛門貞則（本国伊勢、生国三河、姓源）
往古の先祖榊原七郎左衛門清長という者は本国伊勢榊原
庄の後、三河へ移った。すなわち現在の榊原式部大輔殿の先祖であると申している。
その以後のことは系統が詳らかでない。祖父榊原孫兵衛貞長という者は幼少
より右手が不自由で、三河国渥美郡に蟄居していたということである。その子
武左衛門貞則のこと 御家に仕えている渥美助左衛門を頼って
正保元年甲申年（1644年）に三州より当国へ来たところ、翌正保二年に
忠昌公の耳に達し「追って召し出す予定であるから他家を望むな」という旨を
仰せ出されたところ、その年に御逝去されたので沙汰に及ばなかったが、その後江戸において
吉品公に召し出された

When Lord Yoshishina held dominion over Yoshie, in the 4th year of Shōhō, year of the Fire Boar (1647),
he was summoned in Edo
● Sakakibara Buemon Sadanori (home province: Ise, birth province: Mikawa, clan: Minamoto)
His ancient ancestor, a man called Sakakibara Shichirōzaemon Kiyonaga, was from Sakakibara
Manor in his home province of Ise, and later moved to Mikawa. It is said that he was the ancestor of the current Lord Sakakibara Shikibu-no-taifu.
The lineage after that period is unclear. His grandfather, a man called Sakakibara Magobee Sadanaga, had been
disabled in his right hand since childhood and was living in retirement in Atsumi District of Mikawa Province. His son
Buzaemon Sadanori, relying on Atsumi Sukezaemon who served in your house,
came from Sanshū to this province in the 1st year of Shōhō, year of the Wood Monkey (1644). The following year, Shōhō 2,
it reached Lord Tadamasa's ears, and he issued the command "I intend to summon you later, so do not seek service with other houses."
However, that year His Lordship passed away, so the matter was not pursued. Later, in Edo,
Lord Yoshishina summoned him.
