之由本願寺顕如上人感状于今仰明寺ニ所持仕候葛岡ノ
名字ノ儀ハ母方ノ別名ニテ候正信母ハ吉田兵之丞ト申
者ノ妹ニテ候兵之丞儀 忠直公御供仕大坂御陣首三級
討取申候由

吉品公が吉江にいた時、万治二年己亥年（1659年）に召し出された
● 葛岡甚右衛門正信（本国不詳、生国越前、姓不詳）
正信の先祖は代々和田仰明寺の住職であった。称号を蓑輪とも言った。加
越一揆の時分、仰明寺の松岸は僧形では武略を行うのが困難であったため、蓑輪源
内と改名し、長泉寺山で富田常陸を討ち取り、比類なき高名を
挙げたという。本願寺顕如上人の感状を今も仰明寺に所持している。葛岡の
名字については母方の別名である。正信の母は吉田兵之丞という
者の妹である。兵之丞は忠直公にお供し、大坂の陣で首三級を
討ち取ったという

● Katsuraoka Jinemon Masanobu (home province unknown, birth province: Echizen, clan unknown)
Masanobu's ancestors had served for generations as head priests of Wada Gyōmyōji Temple. Their honorary title was also called Minowa. During
the Kaga-Etchu Ikki rebellion, Gyōmyōji's Shōgan found it difficult to employ military tactics while in monk's form, so he
changed his name to Minowa Genuchi and killed Tomita Hitachi at Mount Chōsenji, achieving unparalleled
military fame. A letter of commendation from Honganji Kennyo Shōnin is still possessed by Gyōmyōji Temple. Regarding the
surname Katsuraoka, it is an alternative name from the maternal side. Masanobu's mother was
the younger sister of a man named Yoshida Hyōnosuke. Hyōnosuke served
Lord Tadanao and is said to have taken three heads during the Siege of Osaka
During Lord Yoshikuni's reign, inherited the position in the 1st year of Kyōhō, year of the Fire Monkey (1716)
