死仕候其子桑山十兵衛大坂落城ノ後山城国ニ引込罷有
候処森中将様ヨリ御合力米六百石被下候中将様御逝去
之後右御合力米指上候其子桑山十右衛門政甫儀京都ニ
罷有森内記様エ出入仕候処御合力米三百石被下候是又
以後指上候へ共段々御懇意ニ付美作守様御代ニ至テハ
京都ヨリ通ヒ候而相勤候美作守様御死去以後兼而

秀吉公より秀頼卿に仕えた後、元和元年乙卯年（1615年）大坂で討
死した。その子桑山十兵衛は大坂落城の後、山城国に引きこもっていた
ところ、森中将様より御合力米六百石を下された。中将様御逝去
の後、右の御合力米を返上した。その子桑山十右衛門政甫は京都に
いて森内記様に出入りしていたところ、御合力米三百石を下された。これもまた
後に返上したが、段々と御懇意により、美作守様の御代には
京都より通って仕えた。美作守様御死去以後、かねてより
吉品公は森家との御由緒により度々御目見えしていたところ、御懇意
により御機嫌伺いのため延宝三年乙卯年（1675年）越前へ参上した
ところ、帰る際に吉品公より森伯耆守様へ御書を進められ、
「美作守様御存命の内からの御約束であるので、十右衛門を
来る辰年（延宝四年・1676年）に越前へ遣わされるように」との御直書を美作国へ持参した。
その刻（時）、剃髪するようにとの吉品公の御意向があったため、京都大
徳寺にて剃髪し、名を宗庵と改めた。以後、御国へ参った ところ召し
出された。
綱昌公の御代、延宝六年戊午年（1678年）に召し出され、御閑居中の鳥越御屋敷に仕えた
吉邦公の御代、正徳元年辛卯年（1711年）に家督を下された

After serving Lord Hideyori from Hideyoshi, he died in battle at Osaka in the first year of Genna, year of the Wood Rabbit (1615). His son Kuwayama Jūbei withdrew to Yamashiro Province after the fall of Osaka Castle, where he received a stipend of 600 koku of rice from Lord Mori Chūjō. After Chūjō's death, he returned this stipend. His son Kuwayama Jūemon Masasuke was in Kyoto serving the Mori Naiki, from whom he received a stipend of 300 koku of rice. This too was later returned, but due to growing favor, during the reign of Mimasaka-no-kami he commuted from Kyoto to serve. After Mimasaka-no-kami's death, since Lord Yoshishina had long-standing connections with the Mori family and had frequent audiences, out of favor he came to Echizen in the third year of Enpō, year of the Wood Rabbit (1675) to pay his respects. When returning, Lord Yoshishina sent a letter to Lord Mori Hōki-no-kami stating: "Since there was a promise made during Mimasaka-no-kami's lifetime, please send Jūemon to Echizen in the coming Dragon year (Enpō 4, 1676)." He brought this direct letter to Mimasaku Province. At that time, by Lord Yoshishina's intention that he should take the tonsure, he shaved his head at Daitokuji Temple in Kyoto and changed his name to Sōan. Thereafter, when he came to the domain, he was summoned to service.
