These springs are situated along both banks of a mountain stream in low-lying valley terrain, and the greater part of them emerge from within the stream itself. The local people boast of their efficacy against malignant wounds and sores, but in truth these are nothing more than simple thermal springs containing extremely small quantities of hydrogen sulfide.
