市比野（イチヒノ）別名樋脇：市比野村にあり、明礬成分を含み、疝積、脚気に効果がある。
高城郡
湯田：湯田村にあり、一軒の浴舎内およそ十五尺四方内に三つの泉がある。またこれより五十間ほど離れた山田庄太夫の浴舎内に一泉がある。その温度は109.4度、泉質は硫黄の臭気があって銀に黒色を呈する。三泉の温度並びに湧出量は次の通りである。○牛頭湯：温度同上、湧出量一分間約七斗五升。○御前湯：温度105.8度、湧出量極少。○地頭湯：温度104度、湧出量一斗二升ほど。この三泉はみな硫黄の臭気があって硫黄の白い沈殿物を残留する。その近辺に軟質の褐色を帯びた凝灰岩が露出している。しかし泉水は直接沖積土から湧出するものと見える。泉質は硫黄・明礬の二つの成分を含み、疝積、筋骨拘縮等に効果がある。
伊佐郡
砂石（サレシ）別名藺牟田（イムタ）：藺牟田村にあり、泉色は清澄で、のぼせ・疝積等に効果がある。
宮之城：泉質に明礬成分がある。
鶴田：鶴田郷紫尾村にあり、泉質・治療効果は上と同じ、また疥癬に効果がある。
出水郡
出水：出水郷にあり、泉質は宮之城と同じ。

湯野浦：立石村にあり、可須村より二里一町の距離。泉質は塩・硫黄の二つの成分を含み、疥癬、梅毒に効果がある。

上湯沢：函館の北東二里、湯沢の石灰石の上にあり、温度86度。泉水は清澄で石灰質層から多量に湧出する。
湯川：函館の東北約二里十二町湯川村にあり、温度95度。泉質はガスがなく炭酸鉄を含む。泉水は少量である。

Springs emerge at the seashore of Jūnichō Village. The spring water has a salty quality and is effective for muscle and bone pain. There is also sand bathing at the same location, where locals lie on warm sand to heal their ailments. ○ Minato-yu, ○ Ōnenrei is half a chō west of Minato-yu, ○ Sansetsu-yu is one chō southeast of Minato-yu.
Yajika-yu: Located in Jūchō Village, contains alum and salt components, effective for fatigue, muscle and bone pain in hands and feet, and scabies.
Unagi-yu: Located one chō northeast of Unagi Pond in Narukawa Village, Yamagawa District. Yukawachi (also called Iriki): Located in Soeda Village, Iriki District, contains alum and salt components, mild in nature and good for weak people, particularly effective for abdominal disorders. Springs emerge from eight locations.
Ichihino (also called Hiwaki): Located in Ichihino Village, contains alum, effective for abdominal disorders and beriberi.
Takashiro District
Yuda: Located in Yuda Village, has three springs within approximately fifteen square feet of one bathhouse. There is also one spring in the bathhouse of Yamada Shōdayū, about fifty ken away. Temperature is 109.4 degrees, spring water has sulfur odor and turns silver black. The temperatures and flow rates of the three springs are as follows: ○ Gozuyu: same temperature as above, flow rate about 7.5 to per minute. ○ Gozentyu: temperature 105.8 degrees, very small flow. ○ Jitōyu: temperature 104 degrees, flow about 1.2 to. All three springs have sulfur odor and leave white sulfur sediment. Soft brownish tuff rock is exposed nearby. However, the spring water appears to emerge directly from alluvial soil. The spring water contains sulfur and alum, effective for abdominal disorders, muscle and bone contractures.

Sareshi (also called Imuda): Located in Imuda Village, spring water is clear and transparent, effective for hot flashes and abdominal disorders.
Miyanojō: Spring water contains alum.
Tsuruda: Located in Shio Village, Tsuruda District, spring quality and therapeutic effects same as above, also effective for scabies.

Kami-yuzawa: Located on limestone at Yuzawa, two ri northeast of Hakodate. Temperature 86 degrees. Spring water is clear and emerges in large quantities from limestone strata.
Yukawa: Located in Yukawa Village, about two ri and twelve chō northeast of Hakodate. Temperature 95 degrees. Spring water contains no gas but has iron carbonate. Small amount of spring water.
