英語訳
**[Right folio]**
**Variety: Hiragaki** (lit. "flat persimmon")
In shape it resembles the Jūmonji, being flat, with incisions on all four sides, and the calyx has eight lobes. When ripe, it turns vermilion-red, and the flavor is sweet.
**[Left folio]**
**Yellow Persimmon** (*ōshi*) [from the *Jikkai* / Collected Explanations]
**Shimomaru**
In shape it is exceedingly large, resembling the Yūhimaru, with a somewhat pointed tip. When ripe it turns yellow, and undergoes alternating bouts of astringency and sweetness — shifting between an astringent taste and a sweet taste — repeating this change two or three times.
