英語訳
**[Right folio]**
**Variety: Shirikugare** (lit. "rotted bottom")
Similar to the Gosho persimmon, the area near the calyx (stem end) naturally splits open, and the astringency concentrates there, forming a black color. The flavor is nonetheless sweet and delicious.
**Variety: Yamagosho** (lit. "mountain gosho")
In shape it resembles the Gosho persimmon, being round and flat with a slightly pointed tip. When ripe it turns red, but the flavor is somewhat inferior.
**[Left folio]**
**Variety: Goshuden** (lit. "lord's palace")
In shape it resembles the Gosho persimmon, with a slightly concave tip. The flavor is somewhat inferior.
**Variety: Yūhimaru** (lit. "evening sun round")
In shape it resembles the Goshuden, and is as large as a fist, round and flat, with a slightly concave tip. Because the astringency of this fruit does not dissipate easily on its own, when it is processed into *rinshi* (taru-nuki; astringency-removed persimmon), it becomes exceedingly fine and delightfully sweet.
