一 暮（くれ）前に又葉桑にてかけ翌朝（よくあさ）まて手（て）を

但夜中わら田のふちへあかりたるはみなひ
ろひ外（ほか）のわら田へうつし置能々ひき
たるをとりてまぶしへ入 其余（そのよ）は葉かけ

一翌朝になり又切桑にしてさつと薄くかけ

てひきをとるへしひきをとる度ことに斯（かく）

但はしめひきたるを一 通（とほ）り取（とり）て其 残（のこり）
の跡を立へしひきをとりて其わら田
薄くなりたらは外のわら田へよせ集（あつ）め

一 若（わか）ひきをとるへからすまゆうすく糸目 出（いて）
現代語訳
【右丁】
一 夕暮れ前に再び葉桑をかけ、翌朝まで手を
つけてはならない。
ただし夜中に藁田の縁へ上がったものは全て拾い
他の藁田へ移し置き、十分に引き上がった
ものを取ってまぶし（蔟）へ入れる。その余
は葉をかけて置くべきである。
一 翌朝になり、再び切り桑にしてさっと薄くかけ
【左丁】
て引き取るべきである。引き取る度ごとにこの
ようにすべきである。
ただし初めに引き上がったものを一通り取って、その残り
の跡を立てるべきである。引き取って、その藁田が
薄くなったら他の藁田へ寄せ集め、
適度な状態にすべきである。
一 若い引きは取ってはならない。繭が薄く糸目が出ない

touch them until the next morning.
However, any that have climbed up to the edge of the straw trays during the night should all be picked up
and moved to other straw trays. Take those that have sufficiently
climbed up and put them into the mabuthi (cocoon frames). For the rest,
apply leaves and leave them.
1. The next morning, use cut mulberry again and apply it thinly

and take up those ready for mounting. Each time you take them up, do it
in this manner.
However, first take all those that have climbed up initially, then tend
to the remaining areas. After taking them up, if that straw tray
becomes sparse, gather them from other straw trays
to maintain an appropriate density.
1. Do not take young ones that are climbing up. The cocoons will be thin and silk threads will not emerge properly.
