一こばそたてより薄（うす）くして涼（すゝ）しき方（かた）□□#1

一桑ははきおろしより三日のうちは三 度（と）つゝ

但此一ヶ条（ちよう）養蚕（かいこ）の一大事也 能々（よく〳〵）此教（このおしへ）
を守（まも）り床のかふれぬ様にすへし紙を敷

現代語訳
【右丁】
一 小箱を立てたものより薄くして涼しい方向に
立てるべきである。
一 桑は掃き下ろしから三日の間は三回ずつ
与え、四日目からは四回ずつ与えるべきである。
ただし桑の切り方は蚕の大きさに応じてその大きさほどに
切るべきである。もっとも蚕が成長するに従って粗く切るべきである。
一 桑を与えようとする度ごとに、まず烏の羽根の根元で

蚕が寄り集まって厚くなった所を、敷いた糠が見えるように
摘み広げ、その後で桑を与えるべきである。厚いままであれば床が
蒸れて蚕の脚が焼け、近火蚕となる
ものである。
ただしこの一か条は養蚕の一大事である。よくよくこの教えを
守り、床が蒸れないようにすべきである。紙を敷いたり
あるいは箱の蓋などに掃き移してはならない。

The way to cut mulberry should correspond to the size of the silkworms, cutting to about their size. Most importantly, cut more coarsely as the silkworms grow larger.
1. Each time you are about to give mulberry, first use the base of a crow feather

to pick apart and spread out the places where silkworms have gathered thickly, so that the spread bran becomes visible, and then give the mulberry. If left thick, the bed will become stuffy and the silkworms' legs will get burned, becoming "near-fire silkworms."
Note that this one article is of utmost importance in silkworm raising. Follow this teaching very carefully and ensure the bed does not become stuffy. Do not spread paper or sweep them onto box lids or similar items.
