持帰りて甚悦ひ一と云てふれは六が出六と
いふて投けれは五が出又は三か出壱つも呼通￣リに
出ざれは又取替んと彼男の所へ行けれは
茨からたちを家の四方￣ニ置寄付れす去は
きやつめが嫌ひのものを持来りおどさんと
きな粉餅を買求来りこれを投けれは御
馳走成と投次第にひろひとり喰ひける依
了￣ニ取返す事不叶無是非彼塞ヲ持来り
夫より博奕を伝へ給ふ如此の来歴有を様々と
云なすは事を知ぬ故也と語り給へは三尺坊我
三尺の棒ヲ振まはす内に日本国中￣ヲ見廻￣ル
早足ゆへ委くは存せね共我昔其鳳来
山を通りし￣ニ其塞を貰はれし因縁にては今
貰ひが嶽と申有と語らるれば各羽団を取
直し斯系図正布我々殊に白雲山の
博奕はかよふに訳有事をさま〳〵に言なすは

（賽を）持ち帰り、大変喜んで「一」と言って振ると六が出て、「六」と言って投げると五が出る。また三が出るなど、一つも呼んだとおりに出ないので、再び取り替えようとあの男の所へ行ったところ、茨や枸橘を家の四方に置かれていて近寄ることができない。それならば、「あいつが嫌いなものを持ってきて脅かしてやろう」と、黄粉餅を買い求めて来て、これを投げつけると、（あの男は）「ご馳走だ」とばかりに投げられるそばから拾っては食べてしまった。それによってついに取り返すことも叶わず、是非もなく、あの賽を（諦めて）それ以来（人間の世に）博奕が伝わったという。
このような由来があるのに、様々な言いなしをするのは事の真相を知らないからだ、と語られると、三尺坊は「私は三尺の棒を振り回す間に日本国中を見て回る。足が速いゆえ詳しくは存じないが、昔、その鳳来山を通った折に、その賽を譲り受けた縁から、今では『貰いが嶽』と申すところがある」と語られると、各々は羽団扇を持ち直して、「このように系図が正しく、我々、ことに白雲山の博奕はこのような訳のある事を、様々に言いなすのは
