旅僧これへと招寄て四方山の物語を聞
給事終て宣ふ様我今宵は聊評義の
旨有て皆々あつまれりたびの労れにて退
屈ならば勝手次第体足あれとぞ宣ふ￣イヤ
我もふし儀に今当｜寄（キ）宿をたまはり斯￣ル歴
々方の御会合を見奉り未曽有に存すれば【若の書きかけかも】
苦からず候へ者此所に罷有御評義等出し承り度
候と申けれは然ば兔（ト）も角も迚則傍の坐にぞ指し置ける
諏訪の社頭へ上信の神々会議の事
斯而並居給旁々には先左りの上座は上野
国白雲山妙義大権現第ニは榛名海行
大権現第三は一ノ宮｜抜鉾（ヌキサキ）大明神第四は
二のみや赤城大明神第五は新田大明神
大六は八幡山八幡宮其外惣社前橋伊勢崎
等をもの明神を始として北は吾妻郡馬利根
村々の神｜詞（ジ）東は碓井峠熊野権現を始とし
現代語訳
旅僧をこちらへと招き寄せて、四方山の物語を聞き終えると、（主君の神が）仰せになるには、「我々は今宵、少し評議すべき事柄があって皆々集まったのである。旅の疲れで退屈であれば、ご自由にくつろがれよ」と仰せになった。（旅僧は）「いや、私もはからずも今夜の宿をいただき、このような身分高き方々のご会合を拝見して、まことに未曾有のことと存じておりますれば、苦しくはございません。このところに控えて、御評議などを拝聴したく存じます」と申し上げると、「それならば、いずれにせよ」とのことで、すぐに傍らの席へと案内された。

このようにして並び座っておられる方々には、まず左の上座は上野国白雲山妙義大権現、第二は榛名海行大権現、第三は一ノ宮抜鉾大明神、第四は二ノ宮赤城大明神、第五は新田大明神、第六は八幡山八幡宮、その他惣社・前橋・伊勢崎などの明神を始めとして、北は吾妻郡・利根郡の村々の神社、東は碓氷峠・熊野権現を始めとして、

The traveling monk was beckoned over, and after the lord had finished hearing various stories, he declared: "We have gathered here this evening to deliberate on a certain matter. If you are weary from your travels and find it tedious, please feel free to rest as you wish." The monk replied, "No, I have unexpectedly been granted lodging for this evening, and I find it an extraordinary and unprecedented honor to witness the assembly of such distinguished presences. I am not at all uncomfortable. I would very much like to remain here and humbly listen to your deliberations." At this, the lord said, "Very well, then, whatever suits you," and the monk was immediately shown to a seat nearby.
