（前頁より続く）御供仕り御登城あそばされ、御満悦に思し召され候由、御懇ろなる御意の上、御酒を下し置かれた。
梅園院様の御婚礼の節、御輿寄にて御進物差出を相勤め、服代を下し置かれた。
一 同二丑年（1745）二月、八講御執行中、出精宜しく相勤め候段を仰せ出された。
一 同月、御下向につき御宿割を仰せ付けられ、帰国した。

但し、御宿割を相勤め小山まで罷り越し候ところ、宮様が日光より御帰府にて粕壁において御伯（＝御泊）と同日の御先触が申し来たったため、杉戸へ相戻り、杉戸にて御伯の取り計らいを行った。福良において御宿割の御暇を下された節、これまで滞りなく着き候段、御意を蒙った。
一 同年（月は不詳）御宿割に精を出し相勤め候につき、御褒美として銀子壱枚を下し置かれた。
一 同年八月、諸芸宜しく相究め候段を仰せ出された。

(Continued from previous page) He served as escort when [the lord] proceeded to Edo Castle; [the lord] was greatly pleased, and after graciously expressing his satisfaction, bestowed upon him sake [as a reward].
On the occasion of the wedding ceremony of Lady Baien-in, he performed the duty of presenting ceremonial gifts at the palanquin approach (o-koshiyori), and was given a grant of cloth allowance (fuku-dai).
One item: In the second month of the second year [of Enkyō], the year of the Ox (1745), it was proclaimed that he had served with diligence and performed his duties admirably during the execution of the Eight Lectures (Hakkō).
One item: In the same month, on the occasion of [the lord's] visit to the domain (o-gekō), he was ordered to perform advance lodging arrangements (o-yadowari) and departed [for the domain].

Note: While carrying out the lodging arrangements and having traveled as far as Oyama, word arrived that the Imperial Prince would be returning from Nikkō to Edo on the same day as [the lord's] overnight stop (o-haku) at Kasukabe. Therefore, he returned to Sugito and managed the overnight arrangements at Sugito. At Fukura, on the occasion when his lodging arrangement duties were officially concluded, he received the lord's acknowledgment that there had been no delays or problems up to that point.
One item: In the same year (month unknown), in recognition of his dedicated service in the lodging arrangements, he was awarded one piece of silver as a reward.
One item: In the eighth month of the same year, it was proclaimed that he had achieved proficiency in various arts (sho-gei).
