一 同年十一月、観音崎教場における稽古の儀、甲士の列伍・足並みが揃い、三ヶ年にわたり上等の位に至った段、出精し心を用い差配に及んだに付き、御酒を下された事。
一 同三辰年（1820年）正月、三浦郡浦郷村法福寺と同村名主次郎左衛門との境界争論一件の糺明に付き、公事奉行仮役を仰せ付けられた。樋口源太が右の御用に付き差し登られたので、一同相糺し、急速に取り究めるよう仰せ付けられた。

一 同四巳年（1821年）五月、相州表の御新領の古凌（ならし）を仰せ付けられ、御人数が引き払いとなったに付き、外様士・寄合組が引き払った後、郎等を召し連れ罷り下った事。

Item: In the eleventh month of the same year, regarding the training exercises at the Kannonsaki training ground, the formations and ranks of the armored troops (kōshi) had been brought into full order and had achieved the highest rank for three consecutive years. In recognition of his diligent efforts in supervision and management, he was awarded a gift of sake.
Item: In the first month of the third year [of Bunsei], the year of the Dragon [1820], in connection with the investigation of a boundary dispute between Hōfukuji temple in Uragō Village, Miura District, and the village headman (nanushi) Jirōzaemon of the same village, he was provisionally appointed to the post of Kōji Bugyō (magistrate of civil litigation). As Higuchi Genta had been dispatched to Edo for this business, he was ordered to conduct a thorough joint investigation and to resolve the matter expeditiously.
Note: During the investigation, he was also ordered to investigate the matter of the murder of Onchō, a retired monk (inkyo) of Jōrakuji temple in Ashina Village, whom [the perpetrator] had encountered and killed.

Item: In the third month of the same year, he had previously been assigned to oversee and assist with the principal arts of civil and military training (bunbu no gei); however, as the general arrangements had now been revised, he was relieved of that duty. It was announced that he had performed his service diligently up to that point.
Item: In the fifth month of the fourth year [of Bunsei], the year of the Snake [1821], he was ordered to conduct a general inspection and normalization (furunarashi) of the newly acquired domain territory in Sagami Province (Sōshū). Upon completion of the withdrawal of personnel, he descended [from Edo] after the outside retainers (tozama-shi) and the combined assembly unit (yoriai-gumi) had withdrawn, taking his attendants with him.
