一、同年（文化七年・1810年）十一月、相州（相模国）常詰外様士御雇勤を仰せ付けられ、彼の地にて三人扶持を下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された。
一、同八未年（文化八年・1811年）九月、人馬を遣わす際、馬には御定めがあり、大勢の家内が一同に登城することは難しいため、郎等（従者）を召し連れて登城した。
一、同十酉年（文化十年・1813年）十二月、相州御備場（警備陣地）の新規のところにて出精して勤めたことにより、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれた。

1. In the 11th month of the same year (Bunka 7, 1810), he was appointed to the position of hired retainer on permanent duty in Sagami Province (*Sōshū jōzume tōzama-shi oyatoi-kin*), and it was formally proclaimed that he would receive a stipend of three-person rations (*sannin fuchi*) while stationed there.
2. In the 9th month of Bunka 8 (Hitsuji year, 1811), as there were regulations governing the horses used when dispatching men and horses, and it was not possible for a large household to attend together in full, he attended [the castle] accompanied by his retainer (*rōtō*).
3. In the 12th month of Bunka 10 (Tori year, 1813), as he had applied himself diligently at the newly established Sagami Province defense position (*Sōshū go-bibasho*), he was presented with two bundles of cotton (*wata futataba*) as a reward.

5. In the 1st month of Bunka 13 (Ne year, 1816), when a foreign vessel was sighted off the coast of Shimoda in Izu Province (*Zushū Shimoda-oki*), he was assigned to the vanguard defense unit (*senpō go-bi-gumi*) and was charged with remaining vigilant.
6. In the 1st month of Bunka 14 (Ushi year, 1817), he was informed that the fact that all personnel had remained admirably vigilant and had swiftly completed preparations when a foreign vessel was sighted off Shimoda the previous spring would be reported to the lord at the next suitable occasion (*o-jo wo motte go-chō ni tassubeki*).
