《割書：誰々の墓石とも判明せず》その子・所左衛門は、その頃幼年であったため浪人として過ごしていたところ、寛永二十年（1643）に土津様（保科正之公）が御入国され、同年十一月に十石二人扶持を与えられ、御徒として召し出された。慶安二年（1649）に二石の役料を下された。承応二年（1653）、勤番として江戸表へ赴いたところ、陣中の五月十八日に河原文左衛門との喧嘩において殺害に及んだため、翌十九日に切腹を仰せ付けられた。法名：貞樹院頓阿道弥居士。葬所：聚徳山常

《Marginal note: It is unknown whose grave markers these are.》 His son, Shozaemon, was still a young child at that time and had been living as a rōnin (masterless samurai), when in the twentieth year of Kan'ei (1643), Lord Hoshina [Masayuki] (土津様) entered the domain. In the eleventh month of that same year, Shozaemon was granted ten koku and a stipend for two attendants, and was called into service as an o-kachi (foot soldier/attendant). In the second year of Kan'an (1649), he was granted an additional two koku as a role stipend (yakunryō). In the second year of Jōō (1653), while on duty rotation (kinban) in Edo, on the eighteenth day of the fifth month while in garrison, he killed Kawahara Bunzaemon in a quarrel, and on the following nineteenth day was ordered to commit ritual suicide (seppuku). His posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō) was: Teijuin Ton'a Dōmi Koji. His place of burial: Jutokuzan Jōnen-ji temple [continued on next page].
