一、享和3亥年（1803年）12月、学問に精を出し、年齢のわりに手腕が優れていると聞こえたため、御褒美として「礼記古注」を下し置かれた。
一、文化9申年（1812年）2月、学館の句読師に任命された。
一、同10酉年（1813年）12月、観音崎の外様士として

一、同年12月、相州（相模国）の御備場が新設されたところ、外様士として当座御雇として精を出して勤めたため、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれた。
一、同11戌年（1814年）12月、学館の句読師に任命され、着任当初から精を出して勤め、諸生（学生たち）をよく扱ったため、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれた。

- In the 12th month of Kōwa 3, the Year of the Boar (1803): Having applied himself diligently to his studies and being reputed to demonstrate skill beyond his years, he was awarded a copy of the *Liji Guzhu* (Ancient Commentary on the Book of Rites) as a commendation.
- In the 2nd month of Bunka 9, the Year of the Monkey (1812): He was appointed as a *kudoku-shi* (reading instructor) at the domain academy (*gakkan*).
- In the 12th month of the same 10th year, the Year of the Rooster (1813): He was appointed as a temporary hired retainer (*tōza o-yatoi*) among the *tozama-shi* (outside/non-regular retainers) at Kannonsaki.

- In the 12th month of the same year: As the new coastal defense post (*o-sonaeba*) in Sagami Province had been newly established, having served diligently as a temporary hired retainer among the *tozama-shi*, he was awarded one bundle of cotton (*wata hitotaba*) as a commendation.
