一 三月四日於月番御家老狛 杢允《割書：貞｜澄》宅所々ゟ仰出之
御書付幷 思召之御書付諸月番江杢允相渡之
一 於京都猥ニ刀を指紛敷者有之ニ付国々よ里
用事ニ而致上京候ハヽ其品可相達旨京都町
御奉行所ゟ京役本多武兵衛江被 仰聞之間
刀を指候者京都江差越候ハヽ御家中より ハ
武兵衛かた江相達寺社幷町在々よりハ支配
所迄可達由《割書：元禄四未年｜十二月被 仰出二行目》
一 町在々ニ而乳無之者賃を可取ため養ひ子
仕事無用ニ可仕惣而幼稚之子養候時其所之
庄屋長百姓等ニ相断差図を受穏便ニ仕
間敷由可申付旨《割書：元禄八亥年｜十二月被 仰出》
一 夜ニ入五時以後罷通者挑灯ともし筈夜ニ
入用事 無之ニハ下々猥ニ不罷出様面々家来
可申付旨《割書：前々ゟ相定事ニ候得共｜又々当年被 仰出》

一 何茂寄合候時分最前被 仰出趣相守可申候
自然酒宴之節内外不慮之儀出来候得者
現代語訳
一 三月四日月番御家老狛杢允（貞澄）宅において諸所より仰せ出された
御書付並びに思し召しの御書付を諸月番へ杢允が相渡した
一 京都において猥りに刀を差す紛らわしい者があることにつき、国々より
用事にて上京する場合はその品を相達すべき旨、京都町
奉行所より京役本多武兵衛へ仰せ聞かされた間、
刀を差す者が京都へ差し越す場合は御家中よりは
武兵衛方へ相達し、寺社並びに町在々よりは支配
所まで達すべき由（元禄四未年十二月仰せ出された）
一 町在々にて乳のない者が賃を取るため養い子を
する事は無用にすべし。総じて幼稚の子を養う時はその所の
庄屋長百姓等に相談し差図を受け穏便に仕
間敷き由申し付けるべき旨（元禄八亥年十二月仰せ出された）
一 夜に入り五時以後罷り通る者は提灯を灯すはず、夜に
入り用事のない場合は下々が猥りに罷り出ないよう面々家来に
申し付けるべき旨（前々より相定めの事であるが、また今年仰せ出された）

一 何れも寄合う時分、最前仰せ出された趣を相守るべく候
自然酒宴の節、内外不慮の儀が出来した場合は

1. On the 4th day of the third month, at the residence of the monthly duty senior councilor Koma Mokunosuke (Sadazumi),
written directives issued from various places and written directives of [the lord's] intentions were handed over by Mokunosuke to the various monthly duty officials.
1. Regarding suspicious persons carelessly wearing swords in Kyoto, when traveling to the capital on business from various provinces, the nature [of such persons] should be reported to the Kyoto town magistrate's office, as conveyed to Kyoto official Honda Takebei. Therefore, when sword-bearing persons proceed to Kyoto, those from the retainer band should report to Takebei, while those from temples, shrines, towns and villages should report to their respective administrative offices (decreed in the 12th month of Genroku 4, year of the sheep).
1. In towns and villages, the practice of taking in foster children for the purpose of earning wages by those without milk should be discontinued. Generally, when raising young children, one should consult with the village headman, senior farmers, etc., receive their guidance, and handle matters appropriately (decreed in the 12th month of Genroku 8, year of the boar).
1. Those passing through after the fifth hour at night should light lanterns. When there is no business at night, retainers should instruct [their people] that commoners should not go out carelessly (though this has been established from before, it was decreed again this year).
