卜（うら）の年は、籠笥禰宜方（こもけねぎかた）の張番（はりばん）なり。二の鳥居前の芝の上にて、元日、正月十三日に社司（しゃし）が四方拝（しほうはい）を行うとき、卜の年は禰宜方より拝するなり。
一、巳刻（みのこく）時分に、男女（夫婦）が籠笥（こもけ）を持参し、「明日、何時に参るべきか」と尋ねる。午刻（うまのこく）時分に参るべき旨を申し渡し、注連（しめ）の張替（はりかえ）・社号（しゃごう）の改め置きを行う。
十四日、午刻に取り来たるなり。当年は祝方（はふりかた）の張番なり。

一、保科家（ほしなけ）の幣取銭（へいとりせん）は、年番部屋（ねんばんべや）へ取り遣わすなり。当年は三十六銅（どう）成り。もっとも十三日に廻状（かいじょう）が年番中より廻されるなり。

In the year of *ura* (卜, divination duty), the *shimenawa* (sacred rope) stretching duty (*haribан*) falls to the *negi* side. At the New Year and on the thirteenth day of the first month, when the *shashi* (social priests) perform the *Shihōhai* (四方拝, Ritual Worship of the Four Directions) on the grass in front of the second *torii* gate, in the year of *ura* the worship is performed from the *negi* side.
Item: Around the Hour of the Snake (*mi no koku*, approximately 9–11 a.m.), a married couple (*fūfu*) arrives carrying a *komoke* (籠笥, wicker basket/hamper), and inquires as to what time they should attend the next day. They are informed that they should come around the Hour of the Horse (*uma no koku*, approximately 11 a.m.–1 p.m.), and the replacement of the *shimenawa* (注連) and the updating of the shrine name placard (*shahō aratame-oki*) are carried out.
On the fourteenth day, these are retrieved around the Hour of the Horse. In the current year, the stretching duty (*haribан*) falls to the *hafuri* side.
The Fourteenth Day
Item: The *hei-tori-sen* (幣取銭, fee for receiving the sacred wand/offering) of the Hoshina family (保科家) is to be sent to the *nenban-beya* (年番部屋, duty-year room). In the current year, the amount is thirty-six *dō* (銅, copper coins). Furthermore, a circular notice (*kaijō*) is distributed from among the *nenban* (年番, duty-year officials) on the thirteenth day.
