(Continued from the previous page) The 貴布禰祝 (Kifune Hafuri) and the 新宮禰宜 (Shingu Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places beside the steps. The 新宮祝 (Shingu Hafuri) and the 大田禰宜 (Ota Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places in order. The 大田祝 (Ota Hafuri) and the 若宮禰宜 (Wakamiya Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places in order. The 若宮祝 (Wakamiya Hafuri) and the 奈良禰宜 (Nara Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places in order. The 奈良祝 (Nara Hafuri) and the 沢田禰宜 (Sawada Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places in order. The 沢田祝 (Sawada Hafuri) and the 氏神禰宜 (Ujigami Negi) line up side by side, bow once, and take their places in order. The 氏神祝 (Ujigami Hafuri) bows once, and (all of the above) is complete.
First, the divine offerings are presented from the 禰宜 side: one set of chopsticks, then a bowl of rice, then a tray of sōmen noodles (placed on a kaji leaf and arranged on a paper stand), then 椎葉餅 (shiiba mochi), then one carp (by the throat), then one bird, then five skewers of mackerel (sashizaba) as a substitute for fresh offerings. Then soup (placed in a bowl, with one whole yuzu citrus), then 伏兎 (fushito, a type of prepared dish, with rabbit placed on top), then the same (with a drum-shaped item placed on top), then ayu sweetfish (two hegi portions), then assorted fish (two kata-ki portions), then cucumber (placed in the offering box, presented in order; provided by the nine senior 家子, with the Koyama page also bringing some up), then Yodo persimmons (placed in the offering box and presented), then 積御料 (tsumigoryō, accumulated offerings), then 精進物 (shōjin mono, vegetarian offerings, ten varieties), then 狛御料 (Koma offerings).
The divine offerings presented from the 祝 side are: first a bowl of rice, then sōmen noodles (arranged on a paper stand, same as the 禰宜 side), then soup (same as the 禰宜 side; however, today's soup is provided by Taguchi. The head priest on the 禰宜 side and the 祝 on the 祝 side perform the nōrei [acceptance ritual]), then 伏兎, then the same again, then 椎葉 (shiiba), then carp (one by the throat), then one bird, then five skewers of mackerel as a substitute for fresh offerings, then 積御料, then 精進物 (ten packages).

Then 狛御料 (Koma offerings), then a ritual cup and sake (as customary, from the 禰宜 side).
For the Eight Shrines:
One set of chopsticks, two portions of cedar-shaped rice, sōmen noodles (placed on kaji leaves, two each), four slices of ray (ei) each, four skewers of mackerel each, four 伏兎 each, four mochi each, one single-item offering each, and a ritual cup.
Once the presentation of the divine offerings is complete, the junior officials bow one by one in order and return to their original seats. The 片岡禰宜 (Kataoka Negi) proceeds directly to a certain shrine, and the shrine officials below him also proceed to a certain shrine. The five officers (五官) take their seats at the norito (祝詞) recitation area, while the 権禰宜 (Deputy Negi) and 権祝 (Deputy Hafuri) set out the divine offerings in the outer sanctuary (外陣). When the senior 報祝 (Hōhafuri) official has finished presenting the offerings, the five officers recite the norito (this is done after the land purification ritual [土祭] at Kataoka Shrine, as customary). The evening sacred meal (夕御饌) for the outer sanctuary is prepared and presented by the shrine official on duty (today, the 片岡禰宜 is in charge of 保麗 [hōrei]).
