【右丁】
人手をかけるのみである。ただし、召し連れてきた者たちはその中を通ってはならない。巻纓をつけて射場に参向する。
次に神主・禰宜・祝が帷座に着座する（中央に神主、右に禰宜・祝、左側で、いずれも南面する。その図は以下の通り）。
次に以下の社司たちがそれぞれ着座する。ただし禰宜は西の座で北上、東面し、祝は東の座で北上、西面する。矢取の小童等もこれに準ずる。雨天の場合は、神主以下各々が御所屋に着座し、その儀式は晴天時に準ずる。当番社司も着座する。日供の儀式が終わってから社頭より下向を待つ。
次に神主・祝が並び立って的を射る（その儀式では弓矢を携えて芝の端まで出て的を射る。先ず神主、次に祝が射て、その後復座する）。
【左丁】
相互に二矢ずつ射る。この時から先に裾を下げるべきである。射終わって復座する。
次に正禰宜以下の社司が各々立ち並んで一列となり的を射る（この儀式では先ず正禰宜から、氏神祝まで一矢ずつ再度射る。その立つ場所は図の通り）。射終わって復座する。
次に氏人の小童が矢を執り持って祠官に捧げる（この儀式では社司の雑色・白丁並びにその小童の召し連れた者等が的場に至って拾い来て、その小童に捧げ、小童はこれを持参して社司に捧げる）。
次に一献並びに禄物等を引く（刀禰・神人がこれを役とする。ただし矢拭き紙は雑紙の一を五枚で一つとし、同じく七枚で一つとし、杉原の二枚で一つとする。今、矢取の小童に遣わす。ただしこの矢拭き紙は別当大夫の支配にて神人が役とする。小土器の撒米は所司大夫の支配にて刀禰が役とする）。
次に神主・祝が初めの如く並び立って的を射る（その儀式では先ず祝、次に神主が射る）。射終わって復座する。

Only human hands are to be involved. However, those who are brought along must not pass through the middle area. Wearing makiei (court cap ornaments), they proceed to the archery ground.
Next, the chief priest (shinmushi), negi, and hafuri take their seats at the curtained area (with the chief priest in the center, negi and hafuri to the right, all facing south. The diagram is as shown below).
Next, the shrine officials below them each take their seats. However, the negi sit on the western seats facing north and east, while the hafuri sit on the eastern seats facing north and west. The young arrow retrievers follow the same arrangement. During rain, the chief priest and others each sit in the御所屋 (palace building), and the ceremony follows the same protocol as in clear weather. The duty shrine officials also take their seats. After the daily offering ceremony is completed, they wait for the departure from the shrine head.
Next, the chief priest and hafuri stand together and shoot at the target (in this ceremony, they carry bows and arrows, go out to the edge of the lawn and shoot at the target. First the chief priest, then the hafuri shoot, and then return to their seats).

They shoot two arrows each in alternation. From this point forward, they should lower their hakama hems. After finishing shooting, they return to their seats.
Next, the senior negi and shrine officials below stand in a line and shoot at the target (in this ceremony, starting with the senior negi, up to the clan deity hafuri, each shoots one arrow twice. Their standing positions are as shown in the diagram). After shooting, they return to their seats.
Next, young clansmen hold the arrows and present them to the shrine officials (in this ceremony, the shrine officials' attendants, servants, and those brought by the young men go to the target area to collect the arrows and present them to the young men, who then bring them and present them to the shrine officials).
Next, one献 (ritual offering) and reward goods are distributed (this is the duty of the toneri and shrine attendants. The arrow-wiping paper consists of five sheets of rough paper made into one bundle, seven sheets made into one bundle, and two sheets of sugiwara paper made into one bundle. These are now given to the arrow-retrieving young men. However, this arrow-wiping paper is under the jurisdiction of the betto-taifu and is the duty of the shrine attendants. The scattered rice for small earthenware vessels is under the jurisdiction of the shoshi-taifu and is the duty of the toneri).
Next, the chief priest and hafuri stand together as before and shoot at the target (in this ceremony, first the hafuri, then the chief priest shoots). After shooting, they return to their seats.
