次に正禰宜以下が各々初めの如く立ち並んで的を射る（その儀式では先ず氏神祝より正禰宜に至るまで、二度射ることは初めの通り）。終わって各々復座する。
次に氏人の小童が矢を執り持って社司に捧げる（その儀式は初めの通り）。
次に二献の勧盃、禄物等を引く（初めの通り）。終わって各々退散する。
ただし今夜参加しない時は、名代の者たちの位階・名字等を書き付けて置くべきで、目代より内々に尋ねがある時は、これを遣わすべきである。

○下子日燃燈祭次第（旧記に乙子神事という）
先ずこれより前日に小松と玉箒を燃灯と草として、神主以下社司の亭へ出納が持参し、即座に当日の取り次ぎを回すため、その已前に包んでおくべきである。その図は右の通り。ただし禰宜方の折り様は左右になるのみであるから、別に図示しない。これに准じて知るべきである。今は多く麻包の如きものを用いるのが最も良く、左右の区別はない。ただし小社の分は雑紙にて包み、神主が調進する。

○Procedures for the Lower Child Day Lantern Festival (according to old records, called the Kinoe-ne Divine Service)
First, on the day before this, small pine and jeweled brooms are prepared as lantern lights and grass, and the treasurer brings them to the residences of the chief priest and shrine officials below. To immediately circulate the arrangements for that day, these should be wrapped beforehand. The diagram is as shown on the right. However, the negi's folding method only differs in left and right orientation, so it is not separately diagrammed. This should be understood by analogy. Now it is best to use something like hemp wrapping, with no distinction between left and right. However, for small shrines, wrap with rough paper, and the chief priest prepares it.
